Mr. Pramod Athalye
Convenor of Social Innovation Hub; Pune International Centre
Pramod Athalye co-founded Bourton Consulting India, a management consultancy focused on operational excellence through strategy execution and continuous improvement in diverse industries ranging from airports to services. His corporate experience in the US includes strategic planning, asset management, and finance in MNCs like AT&T and GE.
He also set up a centre of excellence in analytics in India in asset management and strategic marketing for various GE Capital SBUs in the US and Europe. Pramod was one of the first mentors in the SI Hub when the program started in 2017 to guide social entrepreneurs and NGO leaders. He has worked with peer mentors and the PIC SI Hub team in growing and enhancing the mentoring program and related services. He aspires to continue this in new areas such as the SI Hub short-term strategic plan, partnerships with foundations and universities to expand social impact, and policy papers. His qualifications include B. Tech., IIT Madras, and MBA from the Haas School of Business, UC, Berkeley. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from the CFA Institute, VA, USA.
Mr. Amit Bhargava

Amit Bhargava is a seasoned business leader and the Vice President at BiofuelCircle, Amit brings over 22 years of experience in diverse fields like strategy, process excellence, sales operations, and IT consulting.
He has an MBA in International Business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) and is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt. Amit has held key leadership positions with organizations including KPIT Technologies, Cognizant, Birlasoft, and BiofuelCircle. Over the past seven years, Amit has actively contributed to the social sector as a mentor, guiding more than 30 social organizations / start-ups and supporting initiatives focused on sustainable impact and innovation.
He is deeply committed to fostering collaboration, strengthening the social innovation ecosystem, and enabling organizations to create meaningful and scalable impact.
Mr. Neeraj Thakur
Head, SI Hub
Neeraj Thakur is an innovation strategist with extensive experience in designing and leading high-impact programs at the intersection of social innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship. As Head of the Social Innovation HUB at Pune International Centre, he builds strategic partnerships, drives collaborative action, and champions initiatives that create measurable and sustainable societal outcomes.
Mr. Prasad Walave
Programme Coordinator
Prasad Walave holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from MIT-World Peace University, with a strong academic foundation in marketing, branding, operations, and data analysis. He has prior experience in conducting competitor market research for a reputed business solutions company, which honed his analytical and strategic thinking skills. His core interests lie in operations, program coordination, and planning, where he thrives on bringing structure, clarity, and efficiency to complex projects.
Ms. Swarali Gore
Programme Coordinator
Swarali has a postgraduate degree in Economics and a strong academic foundation in areas such as macroeconomics, microeconomics, international trade, financial risk management, and data analysis. She has previously worked on research related to public finance, monetary policy, and international economics, along with topics such as fiscal policy, securities analysis, and portfolio management. She is particularly interested in the intersections of economic policy, financial markets, and sustainable development.
